0.1.02 | first update!

Hi guys! Just a few thoughts here.
First of all, we at the studio are incredibly bamboozled on how our here have somehow exploded yesterday thanks to ManlyBadassHero! To be honest, this game was merely a side project and mostly a experimental game at that.
The core of the game started on the coin slot gameplay but then we remembered SCP-261 exists and so we thought it's a nice idea to based a game at. Then we found ourselves enjoying the creation of made-up foods with a little bit of disgusting stuff here and there. But overall, much of the game isn't really well thought and we really just abrupted published without any playtesting whatsoever (which now I regret!).
Anyway, this first update features a few small changes to the game:
Improved Food Vending
Initially, the food vending process of the game is really tedious. Unless you know what you're doing, which you would know if you tinkered with the game for a couple of hours just like what the others did, there really isn't a predictable way of getting all the items. This initial decision for the game came about because of our limited idea on executing the food vending mechanic successfully, so we resorted on just randomizing it and moving on.
With this new update, food vending can now be both random and predictable. Unlocking random foods is still a thing, however, once you unlock a food, the vending machine now shows the out of Yen coins you need to obtain it predictably.
Improved Coin Drops
Another issue with the game is the RNG of the "begging" scene. Like the food vending part, this aspect of the game was not really well-thought and was just abruptly created to give the player a way to earn coins in a basic matter. Currently, you can earn coins in the game passively so you can focus on the food vending and evolution parts of the game, but we do intend to expand on it to make the game more dynamic and gameplay oriented.
Anyway, this update adds more coin generation to the game. After a certain amount of time, coin drops will be higher and not just amounts, but actually the amount of coins you get. Initially, you can either just get a single Yen coin of a particular amount. Now, you can get multiple Yen coins of different or identical amounts!
Food Item Gallery
Lastly, we added a Food Item gallery for you to tract the food you're discovering on the game. It's a minor thing but I think it's neat!
Final Thoughts
We definitely did not expect this game to explode. This project was in development for far too long so we decided to just publish it before it comes a project that never sees a light of day!
Now that we know this game has a good potential, we're now more focused and serious to work on it. We have great plans that you might not expect so in the coming months, things will get exciting for this game. Hopefully!
If you encounter further issues, let me know on the comments section below!

is the 'liquid' path functional in this build?
I am really enjoying this game, despite some issues. I am using the Android version. For the dev's reference, I will note the issues, since they may differ from the other OS builds:
1. The randomization of the items changes every time the game loads. I don't know if that was the intention. I think for game balance purposes, it should be randomized but stored for each save. That way, the exploration of new foods is rewarded and players can form strategies with the known values. I would recommend that the Gallery also shows this information and the name and description of the items. The Gallery gets reset per save.
2. The sound options do not save at all. Even when I save and go into the game directly, they do no apply.
3. I have encountered a bug at the start of the game where after the tutorial, the vending machine slot is inaccessible, and cannot be fixed even quitting and restarting the game. The only solution I found was to start a new save.
Idea: It would be neat to permit multiple save files for people to try different playthroughs.
Thanks again for your hard work! I hope this info helps!
im a huge fan of this game and im so happy that you guys are planning updates for the future! one thing i noticed though is that theres a bug on windows with changing the sound settings. you can apply the changes in the main menu but once you start a new game or continue, the settings reset to default. just wanted to let you know. im having lots of fun otherwise! looking forward to the next update.
Interesting changes. I think people are more interested in the transformations than the foods (although both are significant draws) so maybe some sort of surreal hint system towards transformation paths would be popular.
Also, please do more work on the Refinarium :P I really can't wait for more of that.
