Reports are spreading across remote Philippine barangays: livestock drained of blood, terrifying scratching sounds clawing at metal roofs, and shadows moving unnaturally fast through the dark treelines. Local officials blame wildlife, but the rural families living in terror know better.

You play as a mysterious independent hunter dispatched under the cover of night. Your mandate is clear: you are not there to hold hands or build defenses. You are there to hunt.

Protect the Innocent. Face the Monsters.

Step into vulnerable, low-income households and meet the real people living on the edge of a nightmare. Spend the quiet twilight hours talking to family members, listening to their accounts, and assessing the property. But as the clock ticks past midnight, the passive silence shatters.

Dual-Wielding, Tactical Real-Time Combat

When the monsters breach the walls, Aswang Hunter shifts from psychological tension into a frantic, high-stakes battle for survival. Control your Left and Right arms independently using unique hotkeys:

• Equip Your Arsenal: Scavenge rural environments or earn traditional weapons from grateful families—including Bolos, knives, hammers, and bamboo spears.
• Stamina Management: Every desperate strike and calculated block expends your stamina bar. Blind button-mashing will leave you completely defenseless.

Don't Let Them Escape

The ancient entities of folklore are intelligent and cowardly. When pushed to the brink of death, monsters like the vicious Wakwak, the creeping Tiktik, or the flying, torso-detaching Manananggal will attempt to flee back into the night. Win intense, rapid-fire minigames to execute them on the spot. If you fail, they will retreat, recover, and reinvade later in the night with an insatiable hunger.

ASWANG HUNTER is a highly experimental game based from Philippine HORROR and Folklore. It's still a work in progress but we have a good idea on how we can expand it.
